How To Make The Quit Smoking Process Easier

Posted by admin in Electronic Cigarette

The quit smoking process is not easy – sometimes the urges are so strong that you cannot resist the desire to light a cigarette. That’s why if you have tried to quit smoking before or intend to do it someday, then this article concerns you! Here you will see six tips how to make the quit smoking process much easier.

First – Get rid of all packs of cigarettes at home, including the hidden ones in some garage lockers. Do that with the ashtrays and anything that could possibly make you think of smoking cigarettes.

Second – Be well prepared for the nicotine urges. Get yourself some nicotine gums or an electronic cigarette (proven to work best) and you can be always sure that if any nicotine urge occurs you will be well-prepared for it. No matter if you are drinking your coffee in the morning, or you are in a traffic jam, or arguing with a colleague – the electronic cigarette will replace the harmful tobacco cig at 100%.

Third – Remind yourself why you want to stop smoking. Do you have any kids? Do you want to spend more time with them? Are you certain that you don’t want to poison them with tobacco smoke? Do you want to save more money? If you have answered to any of these questions with “yes”, then write it down on a piece of paper and put it somewhere you can see it very well. Put it on your desk in the office, in your wallet anywhere you will see it well enough! This will keep you motivated during the whole day not to light a tobacco cigarette.

Fourth – Talk to your friends. At these moments there’s nothing more supportive than a nice talk with your best friends. Call your life/husband or girl/boyfriend and talk to them. Explain them that you are trying to quit smoking (if you haven’t done that yet) and they will give their best to support you! It’s not a bad idea to call them during the breaks at work just to hear some nice words.

Fifth – Find yourself a nice hobby. I’m sure that there’s something you love to do like painting, jogging, going to the fitness gym, etc. Find a hobby, which will distract you from that ‘oh I want a cigarette now’ thinking. Jogging and practicing some kind of a sport will make you feel the need to clean your lungs from the tar and if you haven’t smoked for a couple of days you will slowly but surely get the feeling that you can sport much more than before.

Sixth – Hibernate. Did you get tired from all this stop smoking process! Then it is time to take a break! Reward yourself for your efforts! If for over 1 month or even 1 week you haven’t lighted a cigarette then you really deserve a reward. A small vacation outside town or going to a picnic with your children or taking some days off from work – it doesn’t matter. Just make sure that this break is going to make you feel better!

I hope that at least one of the tips above is helpful for you and you will successfully quit smoking. But remember – to do that you need a really hard will! Good luck!
